Do we ever ask ourselves, about  ' borrowed view ' - I mean - do we ever ask;

who's view or who's idea, have I borrowed and who really owned it in the first place ?

who provided it, in the first instance; from the beginning ?

Displayed on or behind our concrete jungles.

Are we, in fact, not ALL of US, just borrowers - to a ...............

That's the spirit.........so do we do so with Existing, Extant or even Non-Existing ?

Real nature is subject to the ' ravages of time.'

Purposed correctly, yet, through imperfection and interference of generations of lesser or greater extant......

The view is quite often changed, for successive generations to come.

Why then, way back then, did wise scholars like Qian Yong & Qu Yuan - tell of things;

such as " Record of My Non-Existent Garden." ?

Was it just to satisfy, personal obsessions, without the means to create them;

or was it indeed, far more redolent ?

To preserve them, for all time, to come.

The artistic and literary representations in the continuum;

for interested ones, to view.

Just because we have use of a ' real ' garden today.

Always be mindful of the wiser men of the past,

" who sought reclusion from the commercial world and /or sobriety over notoriety;

to indulge their passions in the borrowed view, of nature."
