In order to properly represent things; we need to inculcate the past; therefore, I wish to pay personal tribute to two late, master craftsmen, who have, through subsequent legacy, handed down & on - Origin & Heritage.

Vitaliy Koreshoff

of Manchuria (1909-1985).

In short;  their love of nature, it’s appreciation and the art culture, they embodied from China.

Has willingly been advocated in the global scene.

I have been wonderfully privileged to touch and tend, some of their original creations, in my lifetime; through the generosity of their hearts and loved ones.

This heritage of Chinese garden art, is particularly evidenced in their creations, on display around the globe.

Such as Master Wu Yee Sun’s penjing in Vancouver, BC, Canada and Washington, DC, United States of America ;

in their loved ones and their lineage of successive artistic generations.

Such as is certainly the case with the Koreshoffs; a family whose unassuming gifted creativity “ tells many stories,”

(to borrow Mrs. Dorothy Koreshoff’s own saying)

through their:

miniaturisation of tree, scenery;

ability to practically demonstrate & teach and their written instruction

for our enjoyable participation.
